I spent a morning calling over 20 shops to compare pricing. This was BY FAR the most expensive quote. I was in shock when his price was about $100 more than most of the shops I called prior. It didn't sit right with me that people might just call because this place is close to them, and over pay significantly. So people. PLEASE. Call around before choosing a place. Don't fall victim to greed. The reply to this review seems to be either a way to downplay my review or an honest mistake. But I was not calling about a camera or a diagnostic. I called for a basic 2 wheel alignment. Just got it done for $79 at another location. When G&M quoted $179.95

We charge for diagnostics because correctly tracing an intermittent issue like a backup camera cutting out in reverse takes real time and equipment, and it means we fix the actual cause instead of guessing. Beware! We heard good reviews from friends but that was a while ago when the owner was more involved. We had horrible experience there. Brought the car in on a Friday and was told they would look at it on Monday. It took the entire week and several phone calls to get a response for what the car needed. We decided on most of the recommended items. They kept the care for another 7 days. After several more calls the claimed to have repaired the emissions engine code, along with several maintenance items. The same engine code came right back on the day after we received the car back. Returned the car the next day only to have them keep it for another 5 days with no updates and several calls to G&M. Service writer always offered conflicting information. G&M initially stated that it was another code that came up and wanted to charge another $800 for repairing it (granted he claims the repair was already completed without our authorization). Luckily we also scanned the vehicle prior to returning it and had a screen shot of the historical code and the current code, which of course where the same. When presented the screen shot to the service writer he changed his story and said he never looked to see what the original code was and just assumed it was a new code. After this G&M agreed not to charge the additional amount. We received the car back is starting running rough they day after we received it. Back the shop for another two weeks. I could go on but to sum it up they had the vehicle for over a month. Finally returned it to us for an additional $180 (again never pre authorized). At this point the car seems to be running well. A friend of ours also took his truck to G&M against our advise and experienced the same issues, so I don't think this is a one off issue. Considering a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Service writer is not trustworthy. The whole experience was a huge headache.

The absolutely worst experience i have ever had with any type of business. Stay clear of them. Ive lost thousands due to their incompetence. I would not trust them for an oil change. Please find another shop. They have fired people. People have quit. They made my life miserable for almost 3 months. Worst decision of 2025 was to take my car there.

My brakes were grinding when I brought my car into G And M Auto Repair. Alan was very accommodating and respectful towards me. After picking up my car, the grinding noise was completely gone. Thanks for all your help and making my car safe to drive again.
